Large Aperture Deployable Antenna Article Published in Infusion Magazine

An article, “Large Aperture Deployable Antennas for Use at NASA and Beyond,” has been published in NASA’s Technology Innovation Magazine, page 20, Vol. 15, No.1, 2009. The article was written by Dr. Félix A. Miranda and Dr. Robert R. Romanofsky, both with the Antenna and Optical Systems Branch, and Ms. Cindy Dreibelbis of the Technology Transfer and Partnership Office.

The article describes the leading work of GRC in this area with particular emphasis on the successes and lessons-learned attained in advancing large aperture deployable antenna technology through effective partnership with industry under the SBIR program. This work is in support of the Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) Project.
