  • 2008 Nanotech Briefs Nano 50 Award: The Novel Carbon Dioxide Microsensor developed by Jennifer Xu and Gary Hunter (Sensors & Electronics Branch), Dorothy Lukco (ASRC/Sensors & Electronics), Chung-Chiun Liu and Benjamin Ward (CWRU) has been named a winner in the fourth annual Nanotech Briefs Nano 50 Awards in the Technology category.
  • 2008 Technical Advocate of the Year: Small Business Symposium – Michael Meador
  • 2008 Eleven Best Papers in 110 years: American Ceramic Society – Nathan S. Jacobson, “Corrosion of Silicon-Based Ceramics in Combustion Environments”

  • 2007 STLE P.M. Ku Award: Christopher DellaCorte; The Ku Award was established in 1978 and is given annually to t he STLE member who typifies the dedicated spirit and hardworking attitude of the late P.M. Ku, a volunteer leader who worked tirelessly for the benefit of the Society.
