The Career Communication Group announced last week the 2009 Women of Color Award winners including several GRC members. They are Mei-Hwa Liao, Chief of the Applied Structural Mechanics Branch for the Professional Achievement in Government; Hortense Burt, Lead, High Education Projects for the Educational Leadership; Cynthia Calhoun, chief of the Program and Project Assurance and Gynelle Steele of the Program Manager for Small Business Innovative Research, for Special Recognition. Finally, Marisabel Lebron-Colon from the Polymers Branch was selected as a 2009 Technology All-Star. The recognition will be in Dallas, Texas on October 30, 2009.
